Klostergasthof Andechs is a monastery restaurant at Andechs Abbey in Bavaria, Germany. It opened in 1438 after Duke Albrecht III donated the inn to the Benedictine abbey in the mid-1400s. The restaurant serves beers from Klosterbrauerei Andechs, brewed at the Abbey by monks. Money from beer sales helps fund the abbey’s work, including a homeless shelter in Munich.
