Brunneifusus ternatanus, commonly called the ternate false fusus, is a species of sea snail in the family Melongenidae (the crown conches and their allies). The shell is slender and fusiform, with a tall spire and a long siphonal canal. It grows from about 70 to 270 millimeters in length. The shell color is usually light brown, and the opening is pale cream to whitish. There is a lot of variation in shell sculpture and color across its range. This species lives in the western Pacific, including waters around Japan and the Philippines.
