Bring 'Em All In (song)
Bring 'Em All In is a song by Scottish musician Mike Scott. It was released on 4 September 1995 as the lead single from his first solo album, Bring 'Em All In. The song was written by Scott and produced by Mike Scott and Niko Bolas. It peaked at number 56 on the UK Singles Chart and stayed in the top 100 for two weeks. Critics offered mixed but positive notes: Music & Media joked that Scott repeats the word "bring" many times in a passionate folk style; The Guardian said the lyrics are very personal but the tune is strong, especially the title track. Sunday Life called it haunting with a simple, beautiful melody. The Morning Call described the title track as dramatic with a hushed, church-like chorus. The South Florida Sun Sentinel compared it to a savior's song inviting all kinds of people into his heart, and Newhouse News Service praised it as a hypnotic, promising opening to the album.
