Luis Salmerón
Luis Ángel Salmerón, born March 18, 1982, in Córdoba, Argentina, is a former footballer who played as a forward. He began his career with Ferro Carril Oeste and had loan spells with Deportivo Armenio, Atlanta, Tigre, and Talleres de Córdoba. In 2009 he joined Banfield in Argentina’s top division and helped the team win the 2009 Apertura, Banfield’s first league title. After Banfield, he played for Independiente Rivadavia in the second division. In 2011 he moved to China to play for Shanghai Shenhua. He also spent time on loan at Ferro Carril Oeste, Santiago Wanderers in Chile, and Atlético Venezuela. He later played for Ferro Carril Oeste again, Tristán Suárez, and Los Andes before retiring.
