Bibio ferruginatus
Bibio ferruginatus is a species of fly in the Bibionidae family. It belongs to the animal kingdom, the arthropod phylum, the insect class, and the Diptera order (true flies). Its genus is Bibio and the species is ferruginatus. The binomial name is Bibio ferruginatus, described by Linnaeus in 1767. Synonyms include Tipula ferruginatus (Linnaeus, 1767) and nigripes (Meigen, 1818). It is part of the Bibionomorpha group of flies.
