Snape Wood is a council estate in Bulwell Ward, City of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England. It is about 4.4 miles (7 km) from Nottingham city centre. It sits west of Bulwell, north of Hempshill Vale, south of Hucknall and east of Nuthall. In 2001, 2,937 people lived there.

Snape Wood has a community centre, a family centre, a driving school, a small park next to the community centre, plus a primary school and a local newsagents off Aspen Road.
Demographics
The 2001 census shows the population as 2,937. Most residents are aged 25–44 (around 32%). Ethnic makeup: about 91.7% White, 3.4% Mixed, 1.4% Asian, 3.3% Black, and 0.1% Chinese or other groups.
Religion
In 2001, 59.6% were Christian, 27.8% had no religion, 1.1% Muslim, 0.3% Hindu, 0.2% Sikh, 0.1% Buddhist and 0.1% Jewish. About 10.7% did not state their religion.

Emily Campbell, an Olympic weightlifter, grew up in Snape Wood.
Bus services
Nottingham City Transport runs several bus lines serving Snape Wood, including routes 68, 68A, 68B, 69, 69A and 69B. These connect residents with Nottingham city centre, Bulwell and nearby areas.
