Taki Fiti is a Macedonian economist and former Minister of Finance of North Macedonia. He was born on November 7, 1950, in Kruševo, then part of Yugoslavia (today North Macedonia). He is an ethnic Aromanian. He earned his MA in 1980 and his Ph.D. in 1983 at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje. From 1996 to 1998, he served as North Macedonia’s Minister of Finance, the fourth person to hold the job. He is currently the head of the Centre for Strategic Research at the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts (MANU).

His research interests include economics, economic growth and development, state regulation, international capital flows, and entrepreneurship. He has written or co-authored 19 books, including Transnational companies and export of capital; Modern capitalism; Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship management; Economy - microeconomic approach; and Economy - macroeconomic approach.
