Numedal Township is a small rural area in Pennington County, Minnesota. It covers 27.8 square miles of mostly flat, all-land and sits about 1,037 feet above sea level. The population was 91 at the 2000 census, giving a low population density of about 3.3 people per square mile. The township was named after Numedal in Norway.

In 2000, there were 35 households and 29 families. The community was predominantly White (about 97%), with small Native American and Asian residents. The average household had about 2.6 people, and families averaged about 2.7. About 43% of households had children under 18, and most households were married couples. The median age was 36, and males outnumbered females (roughly 133 males for every 100 females). The median household income was around $41,250, with a per capita income of about $16,068. A small portion of residents lived below the poverty line (about 6%).
