Berkhamsted Town F.C.
Berkhamsted Town Football Club was a football team from Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. It was founded in 1919 (originally called Berkhamsted Comrades) and wore a black-and-white kit. The club’s nickname was The Lilywhites or Berko. They played at Broadwater, which could hold about 2,000 spectators. In the 2007–08 season they competed in the Southern League Division One Midlands and finished 21st, which led to relegation. In January 2009 the club was dissolved because of debts. Fans then started a new club, Berkhamsted F.C., in the summer of 2009.
