Rönninge railway station
Rönninge station is on Stockholm’s commuter rail, located in Rönninge, Salem Municipality, about 28 km from Stockholm City. It has one island platform, two tracks, and a pedestrian tunnel to reach the platform. The station is at ground level and accessible, with a bus terminal nearby.
Rönninge opened in 1888. It was renovated in 1915–16 and 1920, when the first pedestrian tunnel was added. In 1970, after SL took over, the platform was raised, a new pedestrian tunnel was built, and the old station building was demolished. Elevators were added in the late 1980s.
In 2015, about 2,600 people boarded trains here on winter weekdays. The station is served by two Stockholm commuter rail lines, with trains to Södertälje Centrum and to Märsta.
