Crossroads Film Festival is a yearly independent film festival around Jackson, Mississippi. It began in 1999 and is the second oldest film festival in the state. The event is run by the nonprofit Crossroads Film Society, which promotes independent film in the Deep South and supports women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and indigenous filmmakers.

The festival lasts four days and screens more than 100 films, including international, regional, and Mississippi productions. There are educational workshops, panels, master classes, kid-friendly activities, live local music, after-parties, and badge-holders-only receptions. An awards brunch on Sunday hands out prizes to winning films and filmmakers. Venues include Millsaps College, local clubs and restaurants, and the Mississippi Museum of Art.

In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 21st festival was held entirely online from November 12 to December 15 on the Eventive platform, with a profit-share to support filmmakers. The festival’s name honors a famous Mississippi region and Jackson’s role as a New South hub.
