Au Train Island is a privately owned island in Lake Superior, off the southern shore of Au Train Township, Alger County, Michigan. It sits a little over a mile from the Upper Peninsula coastline, near the community of Rock River. The island covers about 107 acres (43 hectares) and rises to about 679 feet (207 meters) above sea level. Because it is private property, the public does not have access.
