Tirana Military Hospital
University Hospital for Traumatic Injuries (SUT), also known as Spitali Universitar i Traumës, is in Tirana, Albania. It began as the Tirana Military Hospital and was founded on September 26, 1929. Today it is part of the university hospital system that focuses on trauma care. It is located on Rruga Lord Bajron in Tirana and has an emergency department, a trauma center, and a helipad. The hospital still serves military staff but is open to the public and part of Albania’s state health care system. During the Kosovo War, it treated many wounded soldiers.
