Asian GAA
Asian GAA is the Asian County Board (ACB) of the Gaelic Athletic Association, the GAA's county board outside Ireland. Founded in 2006, the ACB runs Gaelic games across Asia and much of Oceania (Australia and New Zealand are under the Australasia board). The Asian Gaelic Games began in 1996. The board's colors are red, white and black, and its headquarters are at the Singapore Grounds (Singapore Polo Club). The Middle East GAA handles Gaelic games in the Middle East.
One major competition is the All-China Gaelic Games, held annually in China since 2002 under the ACB. The Derek Brady Cup is the Gaelic football trophy awarded by the ACB; its first tournament was in 1996 in Manila with eight teams, and it was renamed the Derek Brady Cup in 1997 in memory of Derek Brady, a founder of the Taiwan Celts. The cup is a crystal replica of the Sam Maguire Cup and was commissioned by Brady's family.
As of 2019, the ACB oversaw about 25 club teams from 14 nations.
