Endofa
Endofa is a physical gasoil supplier and bunker trader in the petroleum industry, with offices in Houston and Dubai and later expanding to Denmark. The company was founded in 2013 by three Danish partners: Kenn Søndergaard, Mads Borggaard, and Allan Frost. It operates mainly in West Africa, sourcing gasoil from Walvis Bay up to the Congo, and runs a fleet of seven vessels.
Endofa’s growth was rapid. It reported a turnover of about $235 million in January 2014, more than doubling its initial projections, and it expected to reach around $350 million for 2014.
The company began its first physical bunker supply operation in late 2012. On May 1, 2014, Endofa became the first bunker supplier in West Africa to use a mass flow meter for bunker transfers. The system, supplied by Insatech, uses Coriolis flow meters to measure mass, temperature and density, helping prevent fraud such as buy-backs and false delivery notes.
On May 14, 2014, Endofa expanded into Central America through a joint venture with Uno. Bunkers are delivered from Puerto Cortés, Honduras, to ports along the coast using flow-metered mobile pumping units. They planned to provide ISO‑certified products (RMG380 and RME180 cSt) as well as MGO.
In the summer of 2015, Endofa opened a Denmark office. The company also has offices in Houston, France and Angola and is registered in Dubai with its current headquarters, though plans were to shift the main headquarters to Denmark within a few years, according to partner Kenn Søndergaard. The Americas also saw expansion with a Panama operation.
In 2018, the Dubai office was acquired by Bunker Holding, and the other offices were rebranded to PSTV Energy, reflecting the company’s tagline “Positive Energy.”
