2013 Erie County, Pennsylvania Executive election
On November 5, 2013, voters in Erie County, Pennsylvania chose their County Executive. Incumbent Democrat Barry Grossman, first elected in 2009, sought a second term but was defeated in the Democratic primary by Kathy Dahlkemper, a former U.S. Congresswoman. Dahlkemper then won the general election against Republican Don Tucci. She captured 57.25% of the vote (31,391) to Tucci’s 42.75% (23,436), earning her first term as County Executive.
