Albert Byrd (November 28, 1915 – June 26, 1990) was an American cyclist from Chicago. He competed in three events at the 1936 Summer Olympics. In the 100-kilometer road race, he broke a chain near the Olympic Village and had to retire. He also rode in the pursuit team with Charles Morton, William Logan, and John Sinibaldi, which finished ninth. Byrd lived most of his life in Chicago and later moved to Tampa, Florida, where he died in 1990. He was a World War II veteran, earning the Silver Star and the Purple Heart. After the war, he worked as a construction engineer.
