West Coast Rap-The First Dynasty
West Coast Rap: The First Dynasty is a four-volume compilation that traces the birth and rise of West Coast rap. Produced and compiled by Lee "DJ Flash" Johnson of The Rappers Rap Group, the album was released in 1992 by Rhino Records and recorded in Los Angeles, California. The four-volume set earned critical acclaim, and its extensive liner notes provided some of the first accurate documentation of the roots of West Coast rap.
