Raghaipur is a village in Uttar Pradesh, near Mirzapur. It lies between Jigna and Gaipura railway stations on the Howrah–Delhi rail route. It is about 55 km from Allahabad and 28 km from Mirzapur. The Vindyanchal Temple of Maa Sarda is about 19 km away. Raghaipur is 2 km from Bihasara on the Jhansi–Mirzapur National Highway. The village has many temples, including one for Lord Shiva, known locally as Badevaranath. There is an old temple next to a pond and a garden near the Ram-Janaki temple. The village has people from several castes, with Brahmins (Upadhyay) the majority. It is divided into two Gram Sabhas: Jasa Baghaura and Jigna Bari. Awadhi is the mother tongue; Hindi and English are also spoken. Most residents farm for a living, using tube wells and submersible pumps for irrigation. A dried lift canal borders the east and south sides. Bihashara Bazar is the nearest market. Raghaipur has one primary school and one degree college.
