Andreas Thuresson (born November 18, 1987) is a Swedish professional ice hockey center who shoots right. He was born in Kristianstad, Sweden, is 6 ft 1 in tall and weighs 203 lb. He currently plays for Kölner Haie in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Thuresson was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the fifth round, 144th overall, in 2007. He scored his first NHL goal on December 31, 2009, against Mathieu Garon of the Columbus Blue Jackets. On July 2, 2011, he was traded to the New York Rangers for Brodie Dupont and spent the 2011–12 season with the Connecticut Whale, recording 21 points in 73 games. After that season he returned to Sweden, signing a one-year deal with Brynäs IF in the Elitserien on May 18, 2012, and later played two seasons there. He then signed with Kunlun Red Star in the KHL on June 5, 2017. For the 2018–19 season he played for HV71, and in 2019 he signed a two-year deal with Schwenninger Wild Wings of the DEL. He joined Kölner Haie on a one-year contract on May 12, 2021. Thuresson has also played for Malmö Redhawks, HC Sibir Novosibirsk, Severstal Cherepovets, SCL Tigers and the Swedish national team. He married Morgan Jaye Zabrowski on March 21, 2015.
