Ahmed Touili (Arabic: أحمد الطويلي) was a Tunisian professor and scholar born on 10 May 1942 in Kairouan, then part of the French Protectorate of Tunisia. He earned a doctorate in Arabic literature and studied at Sadiki College. Touili taught at several universities abroad, including Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in South Korea, Qatar University, and Norfolk State University in the United States. He later became a professor at Tunis University and wrote around 100 books on Arabic and Islamic literature and civilization. He died on 12 January 2022 in Tunis at the age of 79 and is buried in Jellaz Cemetery.
