Banwoldang Station (Korean: 반월당역; Hanja: 半月堂驛) is a Daegu Metro interchange station in Deoksan-dong, Jung District, Daegu, South Korea. It serves Line 1 and Line 2 and is located underground. Line 1 has two platforms and two tracks, while Line 2 has one platform and two tracks. The station codes are 130 for Line 1 and 230 for Line 2. Line 1 opened at Banwoldang on November 26, 1997, and Line 2 opened on October 18, 2005. Banwoldang is the only transfer station in the Daegu Metro. An underground shopping area was added when Line 2 opened. The name Banwoldang comes from the location of Daegu’s first department store.
