Canvas Outdoor Museum Show
Canvas Outdoor Museum Show is a yearly public art festival in November in Downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. It features large murals and installations by artists from around the world in public spaces and certain buildings.
The show began in 2015, founded by Nicole Henry, a local gallery owner. It also includes a Local Showdown where area artists compete to be part of next year’s program. The first edition in November 2015 welcomed 20 artists from the United States and other countries, with works displayed in places like City Hall Courtyard, Royal Park Bridge, Fern Street, and The Whitney. In 2016 the festival expanded to nearby Lake Worth, continuing the big-scale murals and the local competition. Since then, events have rotated between West Palm Beach and Lake Worth and have gained regional and national attention.
CANVAS Art Charities, a nonprofit started in August 2015, supports year‑round public art programming tied to the exhibition, including residencies such as the 2015 Dean Zeus Coleman project in Downtown Abacoa, Jupiter, Florida.
