Achterbahn (song)
Achterbahn (Rollercoaster) is a dance-pop song by German singer Helene Fischer from her self-titled eighth studio album, released in 2017. The single came out on 20 October 2017. It was written by Konstantin Scherer, Nico Santos, Vincent Stein, Wim Treuner and Robin Haefs, and produced by Madizin (Patrick Benzner, Dave Roth, Serhat Sakin) and Silverjam. The track features synths and light Auto-Tune, moving away from Fischer's schlager style. Lyrically, it compares her feelings for a lover to a roller coaster ride. The song is 3:39 long and was released by Polydor/Island. It peaked at number 10 on the German Singles Chart, becoming Fischer's third top-ten hit there, and it reached the top forty in Austria (fourth) and Switzerland (third). Dutch DJ Afrojack contributed remixes that appeared on a digital EP. A music video, directed by Kim Willecke and filmed at Babelsberg Studio in September 2017, accompanied the single—the only Helene Fischer single to have a video. It sits between the singles "Nur mit dir" (2017) and "Flieger" (2018).
