AR Lower V5
AR Lower V5 is a 3D-printed lower receiver for the AR-15. It was created in March 2013 by Defense Distributed and produced with a Stratasys Dimension SST printer using fused deposition modeling (FDM). Tests claimed it could handle heavy use, with more than 600 rounds fired—Defense Distributed cited 660+ rounds on day one and said the design could withstand about 1,000 rounds if ammo ran out during testing.
