A Sporting Chance is a 1945 American comedy film directed by George Blair. It stars Jane Randolph, John O'Malley and Steve Barclay. The screenplay was written by Paul Gangelin and Dane Lussier. Rudolph E. Abel produced the film for Republic Pictures, which also distributed it. The story follows a spoiled young woman who must get and keep a job before she can claim her inheritance. Cinematography was by Marcel Le Picard, editing by Ralph Dixon, and music by Richard Cherwin. The sets were designed by art director Russell Kimball. The running time is 55 minutes.
