ACM SIGLOG
ACM SIGLOG is the ACM Special Interest Group on Logic and Computation. It publishes SIGLOG News, an online newsletter called the SIGLOG Monthly Bulletin, and runs the annual Logic in Computer Science conference (LICS), its flagship event. It also has close ties with the journal ACM Transactions on Computational Logic.
The idea for SIGLOG came in 2007, proposed by Moshe Vardi and Dana Scott. The group was founded in 2014, with Prakash Panangaden as chair and Andrzej Murawski as the first newsletter editor. In 2015, SIGLOG, together with EATCS, EACSL, and the Kurt Gödel Society, started the Alonzo Church Award for Outstanding Contributions to Logic and Computation; EACSL maintains the list of past winners.
