Kiran Navgire
Kiran Prabhu Navgire (born 18 September 1994) is an Indian cricketer who bats right-handed. She plays for India Women and Nagaland in domestic cricket, and has also played for Velocity and UP Warriorz in the women’s T20 leagues.
She made her T20 International debut for India on 10 September 2022 against England. In domestic cricket, she has represented Maharashtra (2018/19–2019/20) and Nagaland (2021/22–present).
Her biggest moment came in 2022 when she scored 162 not out off 76 balls for Nagaland against Arunachal Pradesh in the Women's Senior T20 Trophy. This is the highest individual score in the competition, and she became the first Indian to reach 150 or more in a T20 match. She also set a fast record by scoring a 24-ball fifty on her Velocity debut in the 2022 Women's T20 Challenge.
Her early life: Her father is a farmer and her mother is a homemaker; she has two brothers. She started as an athlete and began playing cricket during college at Savitribai Phule Pune University, where she played from 2013–14 to 2015–16. She also competed in javelin, shot put and 100 metres for Pune University. She later trained in Pune at Azam Campus in a two-year physical education course and attended Baramati Sharda Vidyalaya.
As of 2022, her WT20I stats include 6 matches and 17 runs, with a top score of 10 not out.
