Toad (album)
Toad is the debut studio album by Swiss rock band Toad, released in April 1971 on the Hallelujah label. It was recorded in December 1970 at De Lane Lea Studios in London and engineered by British producer Martin Birch. The vocalist Benjamin Jaeger left the band after the album was finished and was not replaced. In the 1990s, the album was reissued with the tracks Stay and Animals World, which had previously appeared together on a 1971 single. The 1992 reissue included a bonus track, and the 1999 reissue included another bonus track. The album is hard rock and heavy metal, and it started Toad’s discography, followed by Tomorrow Blue in 1972.
