Indian Creek Township is a township in Story County, Iowa, United States. It covers 35.7 square miles (92 km²) of land, with no bodies of water noted, and sits at about 866 feet (264 meters) in elevation. As of the 2000 census, 1,496 people lived there, for a density of roughly 42 people per square mile. The incorporated town of Maxwell lies inside the township.
