The 72nd meridian west is a longitude line that runs from the North Pole to the South Pole. It crosses the Arctic Ocean, North America, the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, South America, the Pacific Ocean, the Southern Ocean, and Antarctica. It forms a great circle with the 108th meridian east.
