Heba Bevan is a British electronics engineer and the founder and CEO of UtterBerry Ltd. She studied at the University of Cambridge. In 2018 she was awarded the OBE for her work in innovation, technology and STEM education, and in 2021 she received Vodafone’s Woman of the Year Innovation Award. Her team develops low-power smart sensor systems that monitor loads on structures and bridges for smart construction. UtterBerry is a Cambridge University spin-out, and its patented AI sensor technology has been used on projects like Crossrail, Thames Tideway, London Underground, Tower Bridge and the Forth Road Bridge. The company has offices and production in Leeds.
