The 2013 1. deild karla (Men’s First Division) was Iceland’s second-tier football season. Twelve teams competed, including four new clubs from the previous year. The season ran from May 9 to September 21, 2013. Each team played every other team twice (home and away), for 22 matches per team and 132 matches overall. Fjölnir won the title and were promoted, while Völsungur were relegated.
