2024 Guam general election
Guam held general elections on November 5, 2024. Voters chose Guam’s non-voting delegate to the U.S. House, the attorney general, the Supreme Court judges, and all 15 members of the Legislature. The elections were held on the same day as the U.S. elections.
Legislature results: Republicans won a majority for the first time since 2006, taking 9 seats to Democrats’ 6. Turnout was 48.8%, down about 7.6 percentage points from the previous election. In terms of the popular vote, Republicans received about 53.7% (163,485) and Democrats about 46.0% (140,197).
Leadership: Therese M. Terlaje, a Democrat, was the speaker before the election. After the vote, Frank F. Blas Jr., a Republican, was elected speaker.
Other outcomes: Incumbent auditor Benjamin Cruz won re-election to a second full term.
