Naonobu (crater)
Naonobu is a small lunar impact crater named after Japanese mathematician Ajima Naonobu. It sits on the eastern part of Mare Fecunditatis, just northwest of Langrenus, and forms a trio with the nearby Atwood to the south and Bilharz to the southwest. Naonobu and Atwood are only a few kilometers apart. The floor is flooded with basalt lava, leaving a flat interior and a worn outer rim. There is no central peak, but a small crater lies just southwest of the midpoint, and another tiny crater sits on the western inner rim. It was previously called Langrenus B before the IAU renamed it in 1976. The crater is about 34 km in diameter, and its depth is unknown.
