Defense Intel Alumni Association
Defense Intel Alumni Association (DIAA) is a nonprofit group for civilian and military retirees of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and for people planning retirement. It also welcomes current federal employees and service members who have worked with DIA.
Since 1998, DIAA has kept members informed about DIA, world events, and the activities and whereabouts of fellow members. It provides educational resources, arranges activities with and for DIA, and hosts social events.
Founded by retired DIA civilians, DIAA was incorporated in 1998 with the support of DIA Director Lt. Gen. Patrick Hughes, USA. Since then, it has grown from quarterly luncheons to monthly forums on world topics and has formed partnerships with other intelligence and foreign policy groups.
