Stoke Damerel Church, also called the Church of St Andrew with St Luke, is a Church of England church in Stoke, Plymouth, Devon. A church has stood on the site since the 13th century, and the present building dates from the 15th century; the tower is the oldest part. It has been a Grade II* listed building since 1954. The northern churchyard gate piers are Grade II listed, along with two 19th-century tombs, including one for Captain Tobias Furneaux. The 18th century brought major changes to cope with a growing population and Navy workers from HMNB Devonport, with enlargements in 1715 and 1751. In the 19th century more work followed: a clock was added to the tower in 1811, the chancel was rebuilt in 1868, and a restoration in 1883. At the start of the 20th century there was a plan to replace the church, but it was not carried out. A new rectory and part of the new building were begun in 1902, but the scheme was abandoned, and the church was restored in 1904. It continues to serve the parish today.
