The 2014–15 Hong Kong First Division League was the first season of the league as the second tier of Hong Kong football. The season ran from 7 September 2014 to 12 June 2015. Sun Source won the championship. Southern was promoted to the Premier League, while Happy Valley and Tuen Mun were relegated to the Second Division. A total of 210 matches were played, with 831 goals scored (about 3.96 per match). The top scorer was Paul Ngue of Sun Source with 40 goals. The biggest home win was Southern defeating Tuen Mun 9–0 on 15 March 2015. The biggest away win and the highest-scoring match was HKFC’s 12–3 win over Tai Chung on 8 February 2015. Teams were promoted from the Third Division as part of the league’s restructuring.
