1991 Louth County Council election

An election for Louth County Council was held on 27 June 1991 as part of the Irish local elections. Twenty-six councillors were elected from five local electoral areas to serve a five-year term, using proportional representation by the single transferable vote (PR-STV). The term was later extended twice, first to 1998, then to 1999.

- Fianna Fáil: 12 seats (no change)
- Fine Gael: 6 seats (down 2)
- Labour: 2 seats (no change)
- Progressive Democrats: 2 seats (up 2)
- Sinn Féin: 1 seat (no change)
- Independents: 3 seats (no change)

Total: 26 seats.
