Littoraria flava is a small sea snail in the periwinkle family. It grows up to about 20 millimeters long and lives in shallow coastal waters in the Caribbean and along the Brazilian coast, including Cuba, Venezuela, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, and Suriname. This snail stays in the intertidal zone, living from the surface down to about 1.5 meters deep. It was first described in 1832 by King and Broderip. In the past it has been called Littorina flava and other similar names.
