1980–81 Connecticut Huskies men's basketball team
The 1980–81 Connecticut Huskies men's basketball team represented the University of Connecticut during the 1980–81 season. They finished with a 20–9 record overall and went 8–6 in the Big East Conference. The Huskies advanced to the second round of the 1981 National Invitation Tournament (NIT).
Led by fourth-year head coach Dom Perno, the team also featured assistant coaches Greg Ashford, Jim O’Brien, and Bill Stuart. Home games were played at Hugh S. Greer Field House in Storrs, the New Haven Coliseum in New Haven, and the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford.
