1924 San Diego State football team

The team represented San Diego State Teachers College in the 1924 season. They played in the Southern California Junior College Conference (SCJCC) and won the conference title, finishing 7–1–2 overall and 3–0 in SCJCC. They outscored opponents 249 to 53.

Head coach was Charles E. Peterson, in his fourth season. Home games were at Balboa Stadium and at a campus field (College Field).

From 1921 to 1924 San Diego State competed in the SCJCC, and for conference games only freshmen and sophomores were eligible to play. The school did not have an official nickname yet; the "Aztecs" name would be adopted in 1925. Publications used names like "Professors," "Wampus Cats," "Staters," and "Statesmen" before the Aztecs nickname stuck.
