1922 Purdue Boilermakers football team
The 1922 Purdue Boilermakers football team represented Purdue University in the 1922 Big Ten football season. In James Phelan’s first year as head coach, the team went 1–5–1 overall and 0–3–1 in the Big Ten, finishing last in the conference. They were outscored 126 to 36 by opponents. Edgar E. Murphy was the team captain. Home games were played at Stuart Field.
