Marr Paterson
Marr Paterson (born 1887 in Alva, Scotland) was a Scottish footballer who played as a forward. He spent most of his career with Leith Athletic, making 38 league appearances and scoring 15 goals from 1908 to 1911, and a further 38 appearances with 4 goals from 1912 to 1914. He also played for The Wednesday (Sheffield Wednesday) during the 1911–12 season, making 21 appearances and scoring 2 goals. After Leith Athletic, he had spells with Lochgelly United and Clackmannan. During World War I he worked for the British government. While with The Wednesday, he shared accommodation in Sheffield with teammate Jimmy Campbell.
