Óscar Ureña
Óscar Rene Ureña García (born 31 May 2003) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Barcelona Atlètic (Barcelona B) and the Dominican Republic national team. Born in Figueres, Spain, to Dominican parents, he came through Girona’s youth system after starting at UE Figueres.
He made his Girona first‑team debut on 14 August 2021 in a 2–0 win against Amorebieta. He extended his Girona contract until 2025 on 8 February 2022. In January 2023 he went on loan to Cartagena in the Segunda División, followed by a loan to Leganés for the 2023–24 season. In 2024 he joined Barcelona Atlètic, where he has scored 9 goals in 19 appearances.
Internationally, Ureña played for the Dominican Republic U23 team in 2024 and received a senior national team call-up in October 2025.
