Keith Abney II
Keith Abney II is an American college football cornerback for the Arizona State Sun Devils. He was born January 11, 2005, and is from Waxahachie, Texas. He is listed as 6 feet tall and 190 pounds, and he attended Waxahachie High School.
A three-star recruit, Abney initially committed to Utah State but flipped to Arizona State on Signing Day after receiving a late offer. In his 2023 freshman season, he played in eight games, recording two tackles and one interception; his first interception came in Week 13 against Oregon.
In 2024 he had 52 tackles, nine pass deflections, and three interceptions, helping ASU reach its first College Football Playoff appearance. Entering the 2025 season, he is regarded as one of the Sun Devils’ top players and a potential NFL draft pick. He was named First-team All-Big 12 in 2025.
