Zinoro
Zinoro (also known as 之诺) was a luxury electric-vehicle brand owned by BMW Brilliance in China. It launched in 2013 and was discontinued in 2020. The brand sold only in China, alongside BMW models.
The first car was the Zinoro 1E, an all-electric crossover based on the BMW X1. It debuted at the 2013 Guangzhou Auto Show. The 1E had a 125 kW electric motor with 250 Nm of torque, a lithium iron phosphate battery, and up to 150 km of range. Charging with a 16 A wall charger took about 7.5 hours, and its top speed was limited to 130 km/h. In early 2014, the 1E was mainly offered for leasing in Beijing and Shanghai.
In 2015 Zinoro showed the Concept Next, a preview of the next model. The production car arrived in 2016 as the Zinoro 60H, a plug-in hybrid based on the second-generation BMW X1 Long Wheelbase. Like the 1E, the 60H was sold in China alongside BMW’s own vehicles.
