Zainal Arifin

Zainal Arifin (born 1 April 1982 in Jakarta) is a former Indonesian footballer who played as a midfielder. He spent most of his career with Persela Lamongan, in two long spells (2002–2005 and 2007–2017). He also played for Persib Bandung (2005–2007), Persegres Gresik (2017–2018), PSIR Rembang (2018–2019), Persijap Jepara (2019–2020), and Persipa Pati (2021–2022). In total, he made 237 league appearances and scored 26 goals. He represented Indonesia at the U23 level in 2005.
