Vester Sottrup
Vester Sottrup, also known in German as Wester-Satrup, is a small town in Sønderborg Municipality in the Region of Southern Denmark, Denmark. It has 1,452 residents as of January 1, 2025. The town lies on the Sundeved peninsula, about 13 km northeast of Gråsten, 8 km north of Broager, and 9 km northwest of Sønderborg. Sottrup Church was built in the 13th century and is located in the western part of the town.
