Yuval (given name)
Yuval is a Hebrew given name meaning “stream” or “brook.” In the Bible, Jubal (Yuval) is the son of Lamech and Adah, and the brother of Jabal, a descendant of Cain. He is called the ancestor of all who play the lyre and pipe, earning him the title “father of music.” In Israel, Yuval (also spelled Yooval or Uval) is a common name for both boys and girls. While it has Biblical roots, it isn’t strongly tied to religion.
